The Blue Texel Sheep Society Show and Sale took place at United Auctions, Stirling, on Saturday 19th September 2026, attracting a strong set of entries from across Scotland and England.
The trade was topped by Mr M Wattie with Lot 157 Tonley Kamber selling at 2,300gns, demonstrating quality genetics in this February 2025 born Gimmer.
The next highest price of the day was taken by Mr M Wattie with yet another impressive Gimmer born in February 2025, Lot 155 Tonley (ET) selling at 1,900gns.
This price was closely followed by Ms J McKilligan with her quality February 2026 born ewe lamb Lot 197 Jems Loki (ET), sold for 1,800gns.
Overall, the sale was a solid demonstration of good quality Blue Texel Sheep breeding, with a high demand for Gimmers.
