The Blue Texel Northern Supreme Show & Sale took place at Borderway Mart, Carlisle, on Friday 28th August 2026, attracting a strong entry of quality Blue Texels from breeders across the UK and Ireland.
Trade was topped at an impressive 12,000gns for Ettrick Land Man, demonstrating continued demand for quality and well-bred Blue Texel genetics.
The second highest price of the day was 9,000gns for Knockmult Landman, followed by Westwood Kaboom, which sold for 6,000gns.
A further four lots reached 4,500gns, with Dragon Kevin, Ettrick Loud & Proud, Caryls Blue Limited Edition and an Ettrick consignment all achieving the same figure.
Overall, the sale produced solid averages across all sections, with particular demand seen for ram lambs, which averaged an impressive £1,789.26.
